Husband Tagged

I have always been the worst at tag. Growing up it seemed like I was always it. Its probably because I run like a girl!!!



1. How long have you been together? May 9th will be 6 years

2. How long did you date? We started dating in March, got engaged in January and then married in May.

3. How old is he? 30

4. Who eats more? He eats more and faster! But I am not far behind.

5. Who said "I love you" first? It was Tim, he had told me that a previous girl friend had told him that she loved him, he said it also and then the next day took it back. I didn't want to be the first one to say it in fear that he would take it back!

6. Who is taller? Tim

7. Who is smarter? Tim, he loves watching Discovery Chanel, Modern Marvels and right now his big thing is Planet Earth.


8. Who does the laundry? I hate laundry so if Tim's clothes are dirty before I get to them he does them but I do most of my clothes and the kids clothes.


9. Who does the dishes? We both do. I would say I do them more than him and he would say the opposite. He may do the dishes but then I clean the kitchen!


10. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? When in bed I am on the right, except for days that I work because the alarm clock is on the other side of the bed.


11. Who pays the bills? We do all our bills via Internet banking so whoever gets to them first, but it is usually me.


12. Who mows the lawn? Tim for sure. When I was growing up I managed to high center our riding lawn mower and was banned from using it (I didn't mind!) so I have never been a lawn mower.


13. Who cooks dinner? I do.


14. Who is more stubborn? We are both stubborn in certain things.


15. Who kissed who first? He kissed me.


16. Who asked who out? We started hanging out as apartments, his roomies and mine and then he asked me on our first single date.

17. Who proposed? He did!


18. Who is more sensitive? Me


19. Who has more friends? Tim, he jokes that we had to have Jacie so I would have a friend!


20. Who has more siblings? Tim, an older brother, a twin, and two younger sisters.


21. Who wears the pants in the relationship? I think that we both wear them. We are pretty good at compromising although Tim says tie goes to ME!

Walking

Maddux started walking!!! I didn't think that he was that close but he proved me wrong. This video is of Tim and Maddux. Tim took the day off to watch the kids while I was at work so it was a lazy morning for him, hence the bed head!

Snip Snip

Jacie had her first hair cut the other day. I know, she is 3 1/2 and I have never cut her hair. Well I tried the whole bang thing but that didn't work. The first time I cut them they were too short and not straight. I cried and immediately called my mom to ask if I had ruined her hair forever! I will leave the cutting of the hair to the professionals! It took a lot of convincing to get her to get it cut. She thought it was going to hurt and she would freak out every time I mentioned it. Luckily Brynn was great. She cut Ryleigh's hair first and showed her that it was going to be ok and then cut Jacie's. She realized that it did not hurt and actually held still for a few minutes.

This is the girls after their cuts. They had been playing dress ups in Ryleigh's swimming suits. Jacie had the bottoms on wrong with a leg through the waist!

These girls are definitely a handful! What cute girls though!

New Stroller

I am in the market for a double stroller and need your opinion. Which is better, a back to back or side by side? I thought that I wanted a side by side but when I went and looked at them they don't seem very sturdy and they are almost as big folded up than a back to back. I want something that folds up easily and fits in the car with room to spare. I still need room for all my shopping!!! I also want something that is sturdy and going to last. I know a lot to ask for with a double stroller. Are any brands better than others? Please respond, I am the worst when it comes to making purchase decisions!

Jacies Tu Tu

This is the "tu tu" that my mom got Jacie almost a year ago. She has been in dance sine September and I have been unsuccessful in getting her to wear it until last week. Every time that I would put it on her she would burst into tears so I would put one of her other leotards on. Her reasoning was that it did not "twirl." She has a skirt that she wears with her other leotards and it twirls when she does. This leotard or as she calls it her "tu tu" is stiff and doesn't' twirl. I don't know why she had the change of heart but she did! I wonder how long it will be before she will wear it again!

Sweet Tooth

Do you ever get sick of having holiday candy around the house? I do. It seems like when you finally get rid of it the next holiday is here with plenty of new candy. Jacie had a Valentines party in preschool and came home with a generous amount of sugar. She was very kind though and shared with Maddux. He loved his sucker! Both of my kids have been blessed or cursed with my sweet tooth. It could be all of the chocolate and sugar that I consume during my pregnancies and while nursing! Maybe Tims influence with rub off on them someday, but probably not!!
